The Ten Realms series by Michael Chatfield is his largest LitRPG work, spanning twelve books published between 2018 and 2022. Two military veterans from Earth are transported to a fantasy world divided into ten ascending realms, and the series follows their progression from the bottom to the top.
Each realm introduces new challenges, power systems, and political structures. Chatfield uses the veterans’ military training as a foundation for how they approach combat and leadership in the new world, blending tactical thinking with the crafting and leveling mechanics that define the LitRPG genre. The later books split into multi-part volumes as the scope of the realms expands.
