The Hell’s anthology series is a collection of themed horror anthologies edited by Rayne Hall. Each volume takes a familiar, everyday location and transforms it into a setting for dark and disturbing stories. The concept gives each book a distinctive hook while allowing contributing authors creative freedom within the theme.
The series began with Hell’s Garden (2014), which brought horror to the flower beds and hedgerows. Subsequent volumes have explored retirement homes (Hell’s Grannies), cat shows (Hell’s Kitties), churches (Hell’s Bells), hospitals (Hell’s Heart), roads and rest stops (Hell’s Highway), and shopping centers (Hell’s Mall). The series ran from 2014 to 2021, producing seven volumes that find fear in the places people encounter every day.
