Eric Hamilton Wilson is a Canadian author of children’s mystery fiction. He is best known for the Tom and Liz Austen Mysteries, a 22-book series that follows teenage siblings Tom and Liz Austen as they solve crimes across Canada. Each book is set in a different Canadian location, from the streets of Vancouver to the plains of Saskatchewan.
Wilson published the series between 1976 and 2006, making it one of the longer-running Canadian children’s mystery series. The books were widely read in Canadian schools and libraries, introducing young readers to both detective fiction and Canadian geography at the same time.
