The Young Brothers series by Erin McCarthy follows a family of brothers through their romantic adventures. Like the Jordan Brothers series, this one started with novellas in the multi-author “Bad Boys” anthologies of the early 2000s, with entries in Bad Boys On Board (2003), Bad Boys To Go (2003), and Bad Boys In Black Tie (2004).
McCarthy returned to the Young Brothers family two decades later with About That Night (2023), a full-length novel that revisited the family and gave readers a deeper look at characters they had first met in novella form. The long gap between entries makes the series unusual, but the later book stands well on its own.
The Young Brothers and Jordan Brothers series are closely linked, sharing three anthology titles and existing in the same fictional world. Readers who enjoy family-centered romance will get the most out of both series when read alongside each other.
