Wolf Brides is a four-book series that follows women who find themselves mated to wolf shifters. Starting with Wolf Bride in 2014, the series introduces heroines who must navigate the unfamiliar world of wolf packs while building relationships with their alpha mates. Red Snow Bride and Dawson Bride followed quickly, with Holiday Bride added in 2019.
The “bride” framing puts the focus squarely on the heroines’ perspectives, making their adjustment to shifter life the emotional core of each book. Joyce uses the fish-out-of-water dynamic to create both romantic tension and moments of humor as human women learn the rules of wolf society.
