Johanna Lindsey’s Viking Haardrad Family series follows members of the same Norse family across three books. Fires of Winter (1980) opens the series, and Hearts Aflame picks up seven years later in 1987. The final book, Surrender My Love, arrived in 1994.
Since the stories track a single family line, reading them in publication order makes the most sense. Each book introduces new characters within the Haardrad clan, and the connections between them are easier to follow when read sequentially.
