The Tory Brennan (Virals) series follows a group of teenagers on a South Carolina island who are accidentally exposed to a mutant strain of canine parvovirus. The virus gives them enhanced senses and wolf-like abilities, which they use to solve mysteries and survive dangerous situations.
Co-written by Brendan Reichs and his mother Kathy Reichs, the ten-book series ran from 2009 to 2016. The books mix science fiction elements with mystery plots, as Tory and her pack use their abilities to investigate crimes and uncover secrets.
