The Tom Swan series follows Thomas Swan, an English merchant in fifteenth-century Europe, through nine books published between 2012 and 2023. The early entries are novellas set in specific cities: Castillon, Venice, Constantinople, Rome, Rhodes, and Chios each provide a self-contained adventure within a larger story arc.
The later full-length novels continue Swan’s journey with bigger stakes and broader scope. The Keys of Saint Peter (2021), The Siege of Belgrade (2023), and The Last Spartans (2023) bring the series forward with more developed plots while keeping the historical detail and fast pacing of the novellas.
