Alan McDermott’s Tom Gray series follows its title character across seven books published from 2011 to 2020. The series opens with Gray Justice and moves through Gray Resurrection and Gray Redemption (both 2012), Gray Retribution (2014), Gray Vengeance (2015), and Gray Salvation (2016), before closing with Gray Genesis in 2020. Every title uses the “Gray” naming pattern, tying the books together under the main character’s name.
The series came out at a fast clip during its early years, with three books in the first two years alone. There was then a four-year gap before Gray Genesis appeared. Because the story follows Tom Gray from one book to the next, reading in order from Gray Justice onward is the way to go. Fans of action-driven fiction with a recurring lead character will find a substantial run of seven books here.
