Todd Strasser has been writing children’s and young adult fiction since the early 1980s. His catalog includes both original novels and novelizations of popular films. The Jumanji novelization (1995), based on the film adapted from Chris Van Allsburg’s picture book, is among his best-known works, along with the Tall Tale novelization from the same year.
