The Unaltered is a seven-book series by Lorena Angell that ran from 2011 to 2021. It begins with A Diamond in My Pocket and continues with A Diamond in My Heart and The Diamond of Freedom in the early installments. Diamonds are clearly central to the story, with every title in the series referencing them in some way.
After a gap following The Diamond of Freedom (2013), the series picked back up with The Diamond Bearer’s Secret (2015) and The Diamond Bearers’ Destiny (2017). The Diamond Bearers’ Rising followed in 2018, and The Diamond Bearer’s Ring closed out the series in 2021. The decade-long span of the series means readers who started with the first book had a long wait for the conclusion, but all seven books are now available.
