The Spirit Beast Saga is A.P. Beswick’s YA fantasy series, following teenagers who discover dormant connections to mystical creatures called Spirit Beasts. These creatures bond with their hosts and grant powers called Spirit Wielding.
The main character, Arnold Ethon, starts the series at fifteen without a Spirit Beast of his own. He gets pulled into the world of the Spirit Wardens, an organization that recruits young people with these abilities, and discovers he has latent powers of his own. The four books were published between 2019 and 2023, with the series growing from self-published beginnings into Beswick’s launching pad for the Levanthria books.
