The Calhoun Women series is set at The Towers, a sprawling and deteriorating mansion perched on the cliffs of Bar Harbor, Maine. The four Calhoun sisters are determined to save their ancestral home from developers, and the search for a set of lost emeralds ties the present-day romances to a tragic love story from their grandmother’s era.
Each book follows one of the Calhoun women as she meets her match, often under contentious circumstances. Megan’s Mate, the fifth book, brings a cousin into the fold and wraps up the treasure hunt that runs through the entire series.
