The Brothers O’Brien is about a large Texas ranching family in the post-Civil War era. The O’Brien brothers are the sons of a wealthy cattle baron, and each of them has a different personality and skill set. Together they protect the family’s land from rustlers, hired guns, and anyone else who threatens the ranch.
All six books came out in a tight window between 2012 and 2013, which makes this a fast, binge-friendly series. It has more of a family saga feel than many Johnstone Westerns, with the relationships between the brothers driving the stories as much as the gunfights do.
