The Adventures of Bianca Dangereuse picks up with one of Alafair Tucker’s daughters as she leaves Oklahoma for the world of silent film in 1920s Hollywood. Bianca lands work as a stuntwoman and actress, but the glamour of the movie business comes with real danger that goes well beyond anything scripted.
Donis Casey published three books in this series between 2019 and 2021. The setting is a sharp contrast to the rural Oklahoma of the Alafair Tucker novels, swapping farmland for studio lots and speakeasies.
