That’s My Baby! ran for 28 books between 1996 and 2003, making it one of the longer-running Harlequin Special Edition continuity themes. Every book in the series is centered on a baby or pregnancy that throws the main characters together. The Cowboy and His Baby launches the series in 1996, and from there the books cover everything from surprise deliveries to custody disputes to the slow realization that the child you are raising looks a lot like someone you used to love.
The range of baby-related scenarios is wide. Some books feature single fathers, others deal with surrogate situations, and several involve characters who did not know they had a child until the story begins. Marie Ferrarella contributed multiple entries over the years, bringing her trademark ability to balance humor with genuine emotion. At 28 books, That’s My Baby! is too long for most readers to tackle in full, but each entry works as a standalone, and the baby theme gives the whole run a consistent warmth.
