The Totality trilogy is the last of the Reeves-Stevens’ major Star Trek collaborations with William Shatner. Published between 2002 and 2006, the three books follow Kirk against a new cosmic threat called the Totality, building from a personal-scale mystery in Captain’s Peril to a universe-spanning conflict in Captain’s Glory.
The trilogy represents the culmination of the Kirk storyline that the Reeves-Stevens and Shatner had been building across their previous trilogies. Each book increases the stakes while maintaining the character-driven storytelling that distinguished their Star Trek work from simple adventure novels.
