The Star Trek Movie Novelization series adapts each major Star Trek film into prose form. Gene Roddenberry wrote the first entry, the 1979 novelization of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Later volumes were written by Vonda N. McIntyre, J.M. Dillard, and Alan Dean Foster, among others.
The series covers the full range of Star Trek theatrical releases, from the original cast films through the J.J. Abrams reboot era. The collection includes both English-language editions and international versions, including a German edition of The Undiscovered Country.
