The Stanton series was T.L. Swan’s debut, starting with Stanton Adore in 2014. The four books follow a central love story through its various stages, from initial attraction through the complications that threaten to pull the couple apart. It established the formula Swan would refine in her later work: strong emotional hooks, steamy scenes, and characters readers root for.
As Swan’s first series, the Stanton books show her developing her voice. They have a rawer energy compared to her more polished later series like The Miles High Club, but many of her long-time readers still consider the Stanton books their favorites. The series also spawned the Dr. Stanton spinoff.
