Spruce, Texas is Daryl Banner’s longest-running romance series and one of his most popular. Set in the fictional small town of Spruce, the series follows different couples across ten books published from 2017 to 2025. Football Sundae kicked things off, and each new installment introduces a fresh romance while building on the town and its cast of recurring characters.
The books cover a range of situations and character types, from the high school setting of Rebel At Spruce High to the cowboy-flavored Wrangled. The small-town backdrop ties everything together, giving the series a sense of community that grows with each book. New entries were still coming out in 2025, making it Banner’s most active series.
