Spider Robinson’s four standalone novels were published over a thirty-year period, from 1976 to 2006. Telempath came first in 1976, followed nearly a decade later by Night of Power in 1985. After another long gap, The Free Lunch appeared in 2001, and Variable Star closed out the set in 2006.
