Edward Cline’s Sparrowhawk series consists of six fiction novels published between 2001 and 2006. The series opens with Jack Frake and Hugh Kenrick, both released in the first two years, and the early books establish the characters and setting that carry through the rest of the sequence. Caxton, also from 2002, rounds out the opening stretch.
The later half of the series picks up with Empire (2004), followed by Revolution (2005) and War (2006). Each title builds on what came before, so reading them in publication order gives the clearest picture of how the story develops. With all six books released over a five-year span, the series is complete and can be read straight through.
