Sin du Jour is a nine-book novella series that takes place in a professional kitchen unlike any other. The catering company at the center of the story prepares food for supernatural events across New York City, and its staff must deal with everything from jealous demons to divine power struggles. Envy of Angels, the first entry, sets up the premise and introduces the core cast of chefs and kitchen workers who keep getting pulled deeper into the hidden world.
Each novella focuses on a specific event or crisis, but an overarching story ties all nine together. The titles reference the seven deadly sins, and the themes of excess, appetite, and temptation run through the whole series.
