Tracy Mack’s Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars is a four-book mystery series published between 2006 and 2010. The books feature the Baker Street Irregulars, the group of street children who occasionally helped Sherlock Holmes in Arthur Conan Doyle’s original stories. Here they take center stage, working through their own cases in a Victorian London setting.
The series opens with The Fall of the Amazing Zalindas and continues through The Mystery of the Conjured Man, In Search of Watson, and The Final Meeting. Each title builds on the characters introduced earlier, so starting with the first book is the way to go. The mystery genre tag fits these squarely, and younger readers in particular may enjoy the kid-detective angle on the classic Holmes world.
