The Sharon McCone Collections bring together the short fiction side of Marcia Muller’s long-running detective series. While the main McCone series consists of full novels, Muller also wrote numerous shorter mysteries featuring her San Francisco PI for various publications over the years.
The McCone Files (1995) was the first dedicated collection, and McCone and Friends (1999) followed with additional stories. These shorter works often explore quieter cases or secondary characters from the McCone universe, giving readers a different angle on the series than the novels provide.
