Sean Costello has contributed to two anthologies. Bluffs: Northeastern Ontario Stories from the Edge (2006) is a regional anthology, and Tesseracts Sixteen: Parnassus Unbound (2012) is part of the long-running Canadian speculative fiction anthology series.
Bluffs gathers stories from writers in the Sudbury and northern Ontario area, giving Costello’s work a regional context alongside other local authors. Tesseracts is one of Canada’s most respected SF anthology series, running since 1985, and the sixteenth volume focuses on the relationship between art and science fiction. Both collections offer a way to sample Costello’s shorter fiction outside of his horror and thriller novels.
