The Rogue Angel series is a long-running action-adventure franchise published by Gold Eagle Books under the house pen name Alex Archer. The series began in 2006 with Destiny and has grown to over 67 novels written by various ghostwriters.
Each book follows Annja Creed, an archaeologist who co-hosts the cable TV show Chasing History’s Monsters. After discovering that she has inherited Joan of Arc’s mystical sword, Annja finds herself drawn into dangerous situations involving ancient artifacts, lost civilizations, and supernatural forces. Her adventures take her across the globe, from forgotten temples to modern cities.
The books combine fast-paced action with historical and archaeological detail. While there is continuity in Annja’s character and her relationship with the sword, most entries stand alone and can be read independently. Readers who want to follow Annja’s full story should start with the list below.
