Robert B. Parker published four non-fiction books across his career. Training with Weights (1974) came early, before the Spenser series took off. Three Weeks In Spring (1978) is a personal account co-written with his wife Joan about her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Spenser’s Boston (1994) is perhaps the most interesting for fans, mapping the real Boston locations that appear in the Spenser novels. A Year at the Races (1991) covers horse racing, one of Parker’s personal interests outside of writing.
