David Healey’s Rehoboth Beach series is set in the Delaware beach town of the same name. Beach Bodies (2014) is the one entry in the series so far, bringing a crime story to the seasonal rhythms and tourist-town atmosphere of the mid-Atlantic coast.
The book draws on Healey’s familiarity with the Delmarva region, which also provides the setting for his Delmarva Renovators mysteries and much of his non-fiction work. Readers interested in regional mysteries set along the eastern seaboard will find the setting well-drawn.
