The Real series by Katy Evans launched in 2013 and quickly became a bestseller in contemporary romance. The story begins when Brooke Dumas, a former athlete, attends an underground fight and meets Remington Tate, a fighter with a troubled past. Their connection is immediate, and the books follow the highs and lows of their relationship as Remy battles opponents in the ring and demons outside it.
The series grew over the years with sequels, companion novels, and volumes told from different character perspectives. Mine continues the story from where Real left off, while Remy retells events from Remington’s point of view. Later books like Rogue and Ripped follow secondary characters from the same world. The series blends romance with sports fiction, and fans of fighter-hero romances will find plenty to like here.
