The Placida Pod series by Tymber Dalton is a five-book paranormal romance published between 2012 and 2016. The series features shapeshifting dolphins living along the Florida Gulf Coast near Placida, with each book following a different member of the pod.
The titles are built on porpoise puns: Accidentally on Porpoise, Porpoiseful Intent, Without Porpoise, Porpoisefully Yours, and Dual Porpoise. The series has a lighter, more humorous tone than some of Dalton’s other work.
