The Phoebe Meadows series is a three-book paranormal fantasy by Amanda Carlson. Struck (2014), Freed (2016), and Exiled (2017) follow Phoebe through a world of supernatural danger.
Struck opens the trilogy when Phoebe’s life changes after a sudden encounter with the paranormal. Freed picks up the story two years later, putting Phoebe in a position where the powers she has gained come with new obligations and new enemies. Exiled wraps up the arc by pushing her into territory where she must confront the full scope of what she has become.
Carlson is also known for her Jessica McClain werewolf series, and readers who enjoyed that will find a similar blend of action, supernatural world-building, and a tough female lead in the Phoebe Meadows books. The trilogy is best read in order, as each book builds directly on the previous one.
