PAVAD: FBI Case Files is a companion series to Calle J. Brookes’s main PAVAD: FBI romantic suspense line. While the main series follows the agents of the Prevention and Analysis of Violent Acts Division through 17 books, the Case Files spin-off focuses on individual cases that connect to the broader PAVAD world.
The five books in this sub-series were published between 2015 and 2020, starting with Knocked Out. The first three books (Knocked Out, Knocked Down, Knocked Around) form a loosely connected trilogy, followed by White Out and Buried Secrets. Each book pairs a romance with a crime storyline involving the PAVAD team.
Readers familiar with the main PAVAD series will recognize several characters, but the Case Files are designed to work on their own as well. If you are new to Brookes’s FBI world, you could start here and then move on to the larger series.
