Dennis Lynds wrote six Paul Shaw novels between 1970 and 1986. The series opens with The Falling Man and continues through Here to Die, Mirror Image, and Circle of Fire in quick succession during the early 1970s. After a decade-long gap, Lynds returned to the character with Touch of Death in 1984 and Deadly Innocents in 1986.
The titles suggest a fiction series built around danger and suspense, with Paul Shaw at the center of each story. Readers who start with The Falling Man will find the later books build on what came before, so publication order is the best way to follow Shaw’s story from beginning to end.
