Steve Martini’s Paul Madriani series spans sixteen legal thrillers published between 1992 and 2018. Compelling Evidence (1992) introduced the defense attorney, and Prime Witness (1993) and Undue Influence (1994) built the series’ reputation for combining courtroom procedure with high-stakes suspense.
The series continued through The Judge (1996), The Attorney (2000), The Jury (2001), and The Arraignment (2002), with Madriani taking on increasingly complex cases. Later entries including Shadow of Power (2008), The Rule Of Nine (2010), Trader of Secrets (2011), The Enemy Inside (2015), and Blood Flag (2016) kept the series going for over two decades.
