The Nowhere Chronicles by Sarah Pinborough is a young adult fantasy trilogy set in and around a hidden version of London. The series follows Finmere Tingewick Smith, a teenager who discovers that the city he knows sits alongside a stranger, more dangerous one.
The Double-Edged Sword (2010) introduces Finmere and the world of the Nowhere. The Traitor’s Gate (2011) and The London Stone (2012) continue the story, drawing on London history and mythology. The trilogy is aimed at younger readers and has a lighter tone than Pinborough’s adult horror work, though it keeps a sense of real danger throughout.
