My First Comics is a board book series by Jennifer L. Holm and Matthew Holm designed to introduce the youngest readers to the comic book format. The four titles — I’m Grumpy, I’m Sunny!, I’m Silly!, and I’m Scared (2016-2017) — use simple panels and emotions to teach toddlers how comics work.
The Holm siblings are also the creators of the Babymouse and Squish graphic novel series, which are aimed at older elementary readers.
