M.T. Anderson’s standalone novels represent the full range of his writing. Thirsty (1997), his debut, is a vampire novel for teens. Feed (2002) became his breakout book, a dystopian satire about a world where everyone has a brain-implanted internet feed. Landscape with Invisible Hand (2017) imagines Earth after an alien occupation changes the economy.
His more recent work includes The Assassination of Brangwain Spurge (2018), a hybrid novel with illustrations, and The Daughters of Ys (2020), a graphic novel based on Breton legend. Anderson moves between genres, formats, and age groups with each new project, but his intelligence and dark humor remain consistent throughout.
