The Modesty Blaise Collections include two books of short fiction by Peter O’Donnell. Pieces of Modesty (1972) appeared between the sixth and seventh novels and contains six stories that give Modesty and Willie Garvin shorter, self-contained adventures.
Cobra Trap (1996) came out over a decade after the final novel, Dead Man’s Handle. Its five stories brought the characters back for what turned out to be their last prose appearances. The title story deals with Modesty’s later years and is often discussed as O’Donnell’s farewell to the character.
