Mo Ghra Mo Chroi Go Deo (Irish Gaelic for “My love, my heart, forever”) is a medieval trilogy set in 11th-century England during the period of Norman rule. The three books follow different couples caught up in the tensions between Saxon, Norman, and Celtic cultures after the conquest.
The Lord of Merewood Keep (2007) established the setting, and The Saxon Bride (2010) expanded the story with a forced marriage between a Saxon noblewoman and a Norman knight who has no desire to live in England. A Scot’s Honor (2011) brings a Scottish element into the mix. Readers familiar with The Ladies of the Keep will recognize Merewood Keep, as both series share the same fictional location and historical period, though they were written years apart.
