Mick Foley has written four children’s books, all featuring WWE Superstars in illustrated, rhyming stories. Mick Foley’s Christmas Chaos (2000) was his first, telling the story of Santa dealing with misbehaving elves and calling in pro wrestlers to save Christmas. Mick Foley’s Halloween Hijinx (2001), illustrated by Jill Thompson, follows three youngsters on a Halloween adventure with a message of tolerance and acceptance.
Tales from Wrescal Lane (2004), also illustrated by Jill Thompson, imagines WWE wrestlers as kids living on a neighborhood street, featuring young versions of Foley, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Kane, Lita, Matt Hardy, and The Rock. A Most Mizerable Christmas (2012), illustrated by Josh Adams, stars The Miz as a schoolyard bully whose classmates include Sheamus, Kelly Kelly, and Kofi Kingston. When a new kid arrives and shakes up things, The Miz tries to outsmart Santa and his helper, The Cenelf. All four books reflect Foley’s well-known love of holidays and his ability to bring wrestling characters into stories for younger readers.
