The London Eye Mysteries began with Siobhan Dowd’s The London Eye Mystery (2007), in which twelve-year-old Ted Spark and his sister Kat investigate their cousin’s disappearance from a sealed London Eye capsule. Ted’s unusual way of processing information — his brain “runs on a different operating system” — makes him an unconventional but effective detective.
The sequel, The Guggenheim Mystery (2017), was written by Robin Stevens after Dowd’s death, continuing with the same characters in a new setting.
