The Logan series begins with Melody (1996), about a girl sent to live with relatives on Cape Cod after her mother disappears. As Melody tries to track down her mother, she uncovers a web of family lies that stretches back years. The series runs seven books and follows Melody through adolescence and into adulthood.
Set on Cape Cod, the Logan books have a coastal New England atmosphere that sets them apart from the Southern settings of many V.C. Andrews series.
