Lindsey Kelk’s standalone novels make up a large part of her catalog and cover a wide range of romantic comedy scenarios. The Single Girl’s To-Do List (2011) follows a woman who creates a list of life goals after a breakup. Always the Bridesmaid (2015) centers on a wedding planner surrounded by other people’s happy endings. We Were On A Break (2016) tells a relationship story from both sides of a couple who may or may not have just broken up.
Her more recent standalones include In Case You Missed It (2020), where an old phone backup resurfaces messages from an ex, and On a Night Like This (2021), a one-night-to-forever romance. The Christmas Wish (2022) and Christmas Fling (2025) are holiday-themed love stories, while Love Me Do (2023) and Love Story (2024) keep the rom-com formula fresh with new settings and complications. Each book works on its own and does not require reading any of Kelk’s series.
