Lev A.C. Rosen’s standalone novels cover a wide range of genres and audiences. All Men of Genius (2011) is a steampunk novel inspired by Oscar Wilde and Shakespeare, set in a Victorian London where a young woman disguises herself as a man to attend a science academy. Depth (2015) is a science fiction novel set in a future New York City submerged by rising seas.
Under the L.C. Rosen name, Jack of Hearts (and other parts) (2018) follows a gay teen dealing with an anonymous bully, and Camp (2020) is set at a summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth. Emmett (2023) is a YA retelling of Jane Austen’s Emma with a queer protagonist. Rosen’s upcoming standalones include You’ve Goth My Heart (2025) and The Disaster Gay Detective Agency (2026). His fiction consistently features LGBTQ+ characters in genre settings ranging from steampunk to contemporary realism.
