Les Fees: The French Fae Legend was Emma V. Leech’s first series, with five books published between 2012 and 2018. It pairs historical romance with French fairy mythology, creating a world where fae beings live alongside humans, hidden behind glamour and old pacts. The romances explore what happens when someone from the human world stumbles into the fae one.
As Leech’s debut series, Les Fees established her interest in blending the supernatural with historical fiction. The French setting gives the stories a different flavor from her English Regency series, and the fae mythology adds an element of danger and wonder that straight historical romance does not typically offer. It is a companion piece to Les Corbeaux, her French vampire series.
