The Legally in Love series is one of Jennifer Griffith’s signature romance collections, featuring eight clean romantic comedies published between 2015 and 2018. Each title borrows from legal terminology: Attractive Nuisance, Wills and Trust, Asked and Answered, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Moot Court all play on legal concepts while telling love stories. Griffith’s husband is a judge in Arizona, which likely explains her comfort with courtroom vocabulary.
Each book is a standalone romance with its own couple and story. Griffith writes what she calls “Cotton Candy for the Soul,” and these books fit that description. The heroines are smart, the heroes are persistent, and the conflicts arise from circumstance rather than misunderstanding.
