Laurie Petrou has published four standalone novels, each one independent of the others. Sister of Mine came first in 2018 and set the tone for her writing with its focus on family secrets and moral gray areas. Love, Heather followed in 2019, taking inspiration from the 1988 film Heathers and updating its dark humor for a new generation.
Stargazer (2022) shifted to the world of online celebrity and the dangerous side of public attention. Her most recent book, The Rehearsal Club (2025), continues her interest in complicated female characters in tense situations.
