L. Ron Hubbard’s non-fiction output is dominated by works related to Dianetics and Scientology. Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, originally published in 1950, presents Hubbard’s theories about the human mind and became the foundational text of the Scientology movement. Self Analysis is a companion workbook.
These books sit apart from Hubbard’s fiction career but are by far his most widely distributed works. The Scientology title covers the religious philosophy he developed from his Dianetics theories.
