These seven anthologies, published between 2003 and 2013, each contain a short story by Kay Kenyon alongside work from other science fiction writers. The earliest entries include Stars: Original Stories Based on the Songs of Janis Ian and New Voices In Science Fiction, both from 2003. ReVisions (2004) offered alternate history stories, and Space Cadets (2006) collected lighter military and space-themed fiction.
Fast Forward 2 (2008), edited by Lou Anders, was part of a well-regarded original anthology series that showcased new science fiction. The Best of Talebones (2010) collected highlights from the long-running Talebones magazine, and Solaris Rising 2 (2013) continued a British anthology series featuring international SF authors. These anthologies span a decade of Kenyon’s short fiction career and place her work alongside many other writers in the field.
